My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is MYSTIQUE. My beginnings were a bit different than the other kittens in my foster home. You see, I was born in an abandoned car, to a feral mother. She took great care of me, but when me and my litter mates started climbing out of the car, someone caught me, and gave me to the nice folks at Friends of Rescue. Since I never knew what humans were until I was about 6-7 weeks old, I'm still learning to trust them. I'm a bit skittish when they try to pick me up, but I do like for them to pet me, and I even purr a little. I'm looking for a home with someone who can continue to work with me while I learn to trust. I need someone patient and kind. Are you that person? I sure hope so, as I'm going to be scared for a little while when I get to my new home. I am currently fostered in Madison Alabama, but am not picky where I go, as long as I am loved, and remain an inside cat.
