Kovu's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Kovu's Story...
Named Kovu, after the Lion King's innocent, friendly and innately good cub, he was the last kitten to survive with his mom Zira living under a farm building. Something was picking off the kittens. Born in February 2015, he survived the cold winter and the predator. Then Cassandra stepped in and rescued Kovu and Zira and fostered them in her home until the shelter had room. Kovu and Zira are now available for adoption. This black beauty male kitten has striking orange eyes against his shiny all black coat. If you are a fan of Halloween then this boy is for you! Kovu seems easy going and laid back. He gets along with the other kittens and likes to play and be pet. His coat is very silky and soft. Kovu is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, litter trained, dewormed and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Kovu (and/or mom Zira) please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kovu, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
