Pluto's Story...
Pluto
Male
Labrador Retriever Mix
DOB: 6/25/14
Weight: 55 Pounds

Pluto is like a puppy, all arms, legs and lots of unbridled energy. He has a sweet, loving temperament, and will require an owner that has the time to train him as well as play with him. He is intelligent and would learn quickly as he does want to please.

Pluto is house-trained with a doggie door and would probably get along with well-behaved dogs. He may want to chase a cat or rabbit just because it would be fun. A family with older children would be best as he may be a little too much for very young children.

Pluto is waiting for that owner or family that will give him a chance to be the best dog he can be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pluto, a Mountain Center Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
