Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sammi, an 11-year-old white and black beauty. Sammi’s guardian is devastated to have to part with him, but she is often gone for long periods of time and due to failing health, can no longer care for Sammi the way that she once could.
Sammi has been an indoor/outdoor kitty because he was lucky to have access to a private patio for about an hour a day. He’d love a little taste of the fresh open air again, but not at the expense of his safety, of course. More than anything, Sammi looks for a comfy place to nap and settle in for a while.
Sammi is a verified cuddler and at night he likes to sleep in bed by your feet. He’s the perfect warmer on chilly nights! Sammi loves the company of his person and he’d much rather be in a room with you, than by himself. If he hears you turn the television on, he’ll come and lay near you while you watch your favorite show or movie. You’ll quickly find that your favorites are his favorites too. :)
Sammi’s favorite things (in no particular order):
- Naps!
- To lay on your legs
- Sunshine
- Getting in the car! He actually rides paws up, looking out at the world like a pup would!
- To sit on the back of a couch and look out the window…it’s very poetic actually....
Believe it or not, Sammi knows what the words “come to bed!” means and he’ll hop to it when he knows that’s where you’re headed. There’s no missing out on sunggle time for him. No way.
This mellow boy will rub against you, pull your hand in close for some lovin’ and genuinely want to be in your company. He’s not a fan of being home alone for long periods of time – but then who is?
