Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our little friend Gilbert may look like a bit of a sad sack, but all it takes is a little attention to get his nubby tail wiggling and get him smiling. Gilbert is about 10 years old and this poodle/bichon came to us from our Newark facility in search of a fresh start in life. Gilbert was found as a stray all alone on the city streets and was in pretty neglected condition. He had himself a nice spa day and is feeling like a whole new pup! Gilbert is extremely sweet, gentle, laid back and lovable. He is quiet and well behaved and he makes friends very easily. We can't imagine what led Gilbert to become a stray at his age, but at some point, someone cared about him and taught him manners. He sits perfectly when asked and walks well on a leash. He doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs and Gilbert would a more quiet home where he can kick back, relax, and enjoy all that life and a great family has to offer him. File#25228 7/29/15
