Hello this is Tessa! She is a sweet shy young lady who needs a forever home. She is a bit shy here and needs a little time to warm up to new people. She loves other dogs, especially ones smaller than herself. She was surrendered here to the shelter because she was running out the door and escaping under fences so she needs a home that can keep her contained or even better, never leave her alone. Tessa should be crate trained and kept in the safety of her crate when no one is home to take care of her. She can be a bit shy at first but once she loves her people she is very bonded to them and wants to be with them all the time. She would prefer a home with small dog experience as she is a very typical shy little dog. She could live with cats and other dogs but no children please. If you would like to get to know Tessa, just ask the front for an application and you two can go on a nice walk together.
