Copper's Story...
Hi! My name is Copper. I was born around April 1. My kitty mommy and siblings were abandoned in a boat that was parked in someone’s yard. Angel of Hope has been helping find homes for us. My mom and brothers already have homes, but I was too small to be spayed until recently. Now I’m ready for my forever home.

I am gentle and playful. I get along with other cats, and I absolutely LOVE the dog at my foster home. We are great friends, and love to snuggle. I have short tabby-colored fur, with a gold tint. That's why they named me Copper - because I'm copper-colored.

If you take me home, I promise to make you very happy with my purrs, snuggles, and playfulness. As you can see from my picture, I am also very helpful when you work at your computer.

If you are interested in adopting Copper, please go to our website at AOHrescue.org and complete the cat adoption application found under the Forms section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Anoka Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Anoka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Anoka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anoka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anoka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anoka paves the way for another one to be saved.
