Somerset's Story...
WARNING: Cutest litter!! This litter of pups is about 9 weeks old (8/31/15) and so stinking cute! Mom is a Golden Retriever and dad was a Lab/Heeler mix and they were surrendered to us at 7 weeks old.. These pups are sweet and VERY social (will run to you as fast as they can when they see you!) and do great with other dogs. They are in foster care in TN and will be transported once an adoption is finalized. If you'd like to adopt one of these little cuties, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out the online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Somerset, a Bedminster Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
