Abe's Story...
My name is Abe and I am a handsome miniature poodle. I am in my golden
years, estimated at 12 years, but have a lot of life in me! I love to lay in
the sun and roll in the grass, but my favorite is to just be next to my humans.
I love to ride and feel the wind in my face, am loose leash trained and love
baths. I am crate trained and I sleep all night. I have cataracts
and have lost some of my hearing but will give you all the companionship anyone
could need. I tell you when I'm hungry and will go to the door when I need to go
potty. I get along great with cats and dogs, but children make me a little
uneasy.
Could you help me live out my golden years, with a soft bed and lots
of love? I just know someone out there needs me as much as I need them!!

Abe is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is
currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama, but is willing to travel for the right family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abe, a Chattanooga Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
