Laney's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Laney's Story...
Laney is a cute 1.5 year old Boxer mix that was recently adopted and returned. The family had her for 3 months and did little to continue with her training. They crated her when anyone would visit. They did not have a fenced in yard and always kept her on a tie out. Laney is a little cautious with dogs at first and does not like cats. She has manners in the home and is great with her house training. She loves to play but it would be best if kids were older. This nice girl also enjoys rides in the car. Laney would love a home where she could receive the love and attention she deserves. With a little guidance Laney will be a wonderful family pet.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laney, a Elyria Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
