Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Awesome Ozzy, a gorgeous Border Collie/Aussie male, is about 11 months old and weighs c. 40 pounds. Ozzy has everything that is most wonderful and challenging about these breeds. He's smart and eager to learn as well as being a superb athlete. He'd be a great agility, herding or working companion and thrives on attention, exercise and mental stimulation. He'd also enjoy an active dog pal and fenced yard. Ozzy is good inside the home too; he's house trained, devoted, obedient, tolerant of noise and other dogs, and not a chewer or jumper. Nor does he beg at dinnertime. He doesn’t mind if you put your hand near his food or toys or if you touch areas (mouth, paws) that can be sensitive for some dogs. We are very excited about finding a place for Ozzy where he can shine and be all that he is meant to be. This will mean a dog savvy someone who can provide him with plenty of play and exercise and mental stimulation as well as
training. He is reserved with strangers and has a protective nature which is not unusual for his mix but will require consistent training and further socializing. He is a herder so is not a good match with very young children or probably cats. If you understand and appreciate the complex intelligence of this special dog, please step up and give Ozzy his chance to be a star! He won't disappoint. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
