ELMER is a 7 year old neutered chocolate male Lab. Elmer is a sweet, sweet guy. We named him Elmer because he sticks to you like glue and just loves attention! He is a wonderful "older" guy who had a not so wonderful start to life but has the sweetest disposition in spite of it all! He is in great health except for his "flea teeth" that are worn down from years of fleas and chewing on himself and things he should not have to do. If you are in search of a sweet 'ol guy who wants nothing more than to adore you....Elmer is your guy! Elmer is good on leash and a great rider. He is keeping his room clean at the vet. He is good with other dogs. Elmer is a stray to shelter. He is approved for kids 10+.

Hi everyone! I've made it into my foster home in Lynchburg today. I had a wonderful ride here. First, MC Johnson sprung me from the kennel and drove me to meet my foster Mom and Brenden. I had to shower her with kisses because I'm just that type of guy! After changing cars, I decided that being a lap dog is a pretty good thing. I'm glad Brenden didn't mind. Kisses were abundant there too! Once we arrived in Lynchburg, introductions with the resident dogs went great and I had to check out the back yard. When we camed inside, I took a little bit of a nap. Foster Mom told me that I snored ever so slightly.
So you ask what about me? I'm a 7 year old chocolate male that was found as a stray. My coat is a little sun bleached but I'm a pretty healthy guy. I tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia and I'm on doxycycline to treat those. I am Heartworm and Annaplamosis negative. I weigh around 63 pounds and I'm told that's a good weight for me. I'm unknown with cats and approved for children 10 and up. If you're looking for a sweet hunk of chocolate with a little bit of frosting that's good on leash, a great car rider, gets along with dogs, loves people and is a lover,...I'm your guy! Call your AC to come meet me in Lynchburg!
