Lolly's Story...
Why Choose me?

Ask Lolly if she’d like to go for a walk, and she’s a happy girl. She takes her time and enjoys her stroll—until another dog barks at her, and then she’ll look up with an expression that says, “Maybe you should carry me for just a little while.” At only 11 pounds, that’s not a problem at all. Lolly likes being held and enjoys being with you. She’s a sweet girl who’ll come running when you call her, and when you’re ready for a leisurely walk, Lolly will come running for that, too!

Act quickly to adopt Lolly. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lolly, a Athens Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Athens, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
