Oliver's Story...
HELLOOOO!

I’m Oliver! I’m about 6 months old and great with dogs, cats, and kids. Life didn’t start out too great for me, as I was found tied to a pole in a park near College Park, MD. I was pretty scared and I had tangled myself up so I couldn't move anymore. Life was looking very grim...

That all changed!!! A good Samaritan found me, took me home, and got me scanned for a microchip and looked for other ID, but all to no avail. So she got me into Jasmine’s House’s foster program, and now I’m loving life and can’t wait to find my forever home. Might that be with you? I give lots of hugs and kisses and I am looking to share them with my new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Clarksburg Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Clarksburg, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Clarksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
