Mya's Story...

Mya is a happy, loving girl who is ready for a forever home. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to meet new people on her walks. Mya loves company, but is still okay to be left alone for short periods of time. Mya is so friendly – she doesn’t care if dogs are big or small, she wants to be friends with everyone (even the cats!) She’s pretty clever, and likes to hide her bones all over the house. This is when she’s in between cuddles of course, because Mya is a lap dog who loves a good belly rub! Even though Mya has a few extra pounds on her, she still has lots of energy for playing, so she really needs someone who will keep her active so she can shed that extra “fur”. She’s not a barker, but let’s us know when she’s really excited or when someone comes home. Mya is looking for a loving friend to who enjoys walks, playing, and cuddling up to watch some television.

Mya has been spayed, de wormed, vaccinated, heart worm tested, given Revolution and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $375.00.

If you would like to meet Mya please go to http://animalert.ca/dogadoptform.shtmland fill out a dog application. A volunteer will get back to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a London Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in London, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
