I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

***BLACK FRIDAY ADOPTION PROMOTION DETAILS*** Promotion valid only on selected pets, and only from 11/27-11/29/2015. Adoptions must be finalized during a regularly scheduled adoption event 11/27-11/29. Applicants must apply online and undergo our normal adoption procedure to be approved to adopt. Please apply before 11/25 to ensure we have time to review your application. An application does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to deny any application, and to withhold any animal from the promotion at any time for health or other reasons.

Damon is a sweet 10 year old Husky mix who has the energy of a much younger dog. Damon is housetrained, and good with children. He enjoys the company of dogs who are not overly playful (he would much rather go for a walk with his family than wrestle with other dogs!). Like most Huskies, Damon enjoys giving squirrels a good chase! Damon is well-behaved in the house. We appreciate adopters willing to provide a forever home to our pets 10 and up, and ask that an approved adopter makes a donation to rescue in the amount of their choosing in lieu of an adoption fee.

All of our dogs come fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies and bordatella, are microchipped, heartworm tested negative, current on preventatives, dewormed, as well as neutered, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. You will receive an automated confirmation once your application is successfully submitted. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, a volunteer will give you a call ASAP.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a dog in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Damon WAIVED FEE/BLACK FRIDAY, a Cincinnati Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
