Ollie's Story...
Our handsome Ollie is one awesome dude! Ollie is a housebroken 1 1/2 year old Lab mix who weighs 46 lbs. He is great with kids (and sleeps with his human foster sister in the bed every night!). He also LOVES to play with other dogs. (Cats aren't his cup of tea). He's still a young boy and could use a bit more training in some areas, so he needs a home with someone who will be around to let him play during the day. He's a loyal and affectionate pup who is going to make a great family dog! Ollie needs a securely fenced (not electric) yard in his new home. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $375.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Sagaponack Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
