My name is Amica!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Tampa, Florida - Amica

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Amica's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with cats.

Amica's Story...
I am a really pretty girl with a lot of white with black markings and bright yellow eyes. I was really lucky and saved at the last minute by St Francis and am so happy. For the first time in my life I have food to eat and actual toys to play with. Who knew what I was missing? I am really enjoying indoor life. I love climbing the cat tree and finding a cosy spot to nap or a box with tissue paper. I would love a home that is not too noisy, but calm and happy, so I can be myself and love you forever. Won't you be my forever friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amica, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
