My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated date of birth: 3/20/2014

This beautiful bright eyed girl is RUFFLES. RUFFLES'S story is all too familiar. This beautiful found herself in quite a predicament before coming into foster care. Somehow she ended up in a local shelter very pregnant. In fact she ended up giving birth to 4 beautiful kittens in the shelter the day she ended up being rescued by Furry Friends. RUFFLES was a great mom, but sadly, only one of her kittens survived. She did, however, take on a couple of orphan kittens that needed a mama to survive. Her kittens (Frito, Dorito, and Pringle) have all found their forever homes, now it is RUFFLES turn.

RUFFLES is an awesome cat. She was vet aged between at about two years. She's still very young and has a long life to live. She is super playful and acts a lot like a kitten at times. She loves toys (especially catnip toys) and she loves attention. She's also very affectionate. She has a cute little chirp she uses to get her foster mom's attention. Unfortunately, RUFFLES does not like being up at our adoption centers. An adoption center can be very stressful for a cat, particularly the adult ones. She much prefers a home environment where she can feel safe and loved. Since she does not show well at the adoption centers, she tends to get overlooked for some of the smaller kittens. She would do fine in a house with other animals although she may enjoy being an only pet so that she can have all the attention. RUFFLES has a beautiful soft orange coat which is pretty unique. Female orange tabbies are not all that common. In fact, only about 20% of orange cats are female.

As great of a mom as RUFFLES was, she will never have to worry about that again. She has been fixed, so now she can live out a luxurious life as a house cat. Do you have room in your house for this unique, beautiful, sweet girl? If so, fill out an application today.

For further information please contact us at www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org/contact-us or call 214-676-2434. Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $140 adoption donation.
