Zipper's Story...
Hey everybody! My siblings and I were found out in a strawberry field with our Mommy. It was dark and scary out there and there was lots of big equipment that we could have gotten hurt on. Lucky for us a really nice lady found us and put a lot of hard work in to finding us some help! Through a great deal of social media and some big hearts we found ourselves at our new foster mommy's house. She has some really cool little foster people. My sister Snickers and I have become best buds and would love to be adopted together. I love to zip around my foster home and she loves to follow! It's been great with this family and they love my loud and constant purrrrs but I'm ready for my furrrever home. Give me a chance and I'll show you just how smart and fun I can be!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zipper, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
