Henry is a handsome almost 2 year old guy looking for a home who will never leave him behind. Sadly, this sweet guy was left behind in a home with nothing. For how long, we do not know but it took a toll on him. When he first arrived to us he was afraid of everything. Literally every single thing. He had a lot to learn and understand that where he is now, he is safe. Henry has come out of his shell and is a bundle of joy. He loves playing fetch with a tennis ball. He walks nicely on a leash and he gets along with most dogs. Henry is a beautiful dog inside and out. Just look at his gorgeous eyes!
Come meet him and please share him! The more people who see him, the better chance he finds his perfect home!
To see larger photos, to see photos of even more of our dogs and cats, or to fill out our adoption application online, please visit our website at www.lakelandanimalshelter.org. Please note that it is our shelter's policy to spay or neuter all dogs and cats before placing into an adoptive home unless there is a documented medical reason the surgery cannot be performed. If a posted dog is listed as spayed/neutered, the surgery has been performed or will be performed before the animal is placed in its new home. All dogs are also vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped prior to placement.
