Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Mali,
i am a beautiful fluffy 4 year old female Border collie mix weighing 35 pounds with a coat that makes you think of the trees turning in Autumn with the gorgeous colors. I am so cute and fluffy that my foster mom calls me her little fox or bear. My foster mommy says I am such a good girl because I have never had an accident in the house, I am perfectly housetrained. I prefer to do my business on dirt or grass. I currently live with two dogs and a cat and we get along great. My dog walker says I like about 80% of dogs, little dogs aren't my favorite even though I live with a Havanese. I love all people and am very sweet.
My biggest behavior issue is that I have separation anxiety and don't like change. My new owners will have to understand that I will whine the first day or so and be really nervous when I come home. It takes me time to adapt to new surroundings. Once I adapt, I am very quiet and low energy in the house. I mostly sleep and snuggle. I don't like sleeping on my human's bed, but sleep on my own doggy bed next to my foster parents. I need a home where someone is home a lot, especially in the beginning until I adapt to my new surroundings. Now my foster parents leave me home alone all the time and I am fine, but in the beginning I would whine and be sad. I love all people and don't bark very often. I love cars too, usually sleep during car rides. I cant be crated because I lived for awhile in a small crate so they scare me, but because I am house trained that is ok.
If you can love me and understand my quirks I may be the dog for you. I currently am being fostered in Manhattan.
I am spayed and up to date with all of my shots
