My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Maggie and I am a darling little girl of about one - and not quite five and a half pounds of soon-to-be fluffiness. Mom says I walk with a wiggle (she says I walk like Marilyn Monroe.) I don’t know who that is but Dad says ‘va va voom! I’m a natural greeter who believes everyone I meet is my next friend. And they usually are!
Mom says that as cute as I am, I’m also very loving. While I love to play with my foster fur friends, I also love to sit on your lap, love to be petted and love to snuggle., But I’m more than just a cute face ‘cause remember I also love to play. Why I can make a game out of just about anything. I get into my ‘play bow mode’ and invite my doggie foster brothers to play. One of my favorite games is ‘steal the toy.’ (I actually don’t really steal them – just borrow them for a little while. And my doggy foster brothers borrow them right back.)
Dad says I enjoy my walks, rides in the car and am working on being housebroken. He says I’m an extremely gentle little girl who gives doggy kisses to everyone I meet – and everyone who meets me thinks I’m very sweet. Dad says I’m really very good at stealing hearts! (I told him I’m a good girl and I would never steal anything.... except maybe a toy, temporarily!)
Mom says that I’m a bit shy and sometimes curious, winsome, trusting and adorable. Oh! and sweet from morning until night. And speaking of night, when it’s time to go to sleep I can sleep in my crate, but prefer to curl up next to my human in the Big People’s bed where I sleep happily all night long (and don’t move around very much.)
I bet you are now thinking that I’m pretty special – and Mom and Dad agree that's true. I also have something else that makes me special. It is something I was born with and has kind of a funny name. What it means is that I cannot hear – so I don’t bark at the doorbell ringing or the gardener blowing his machine around the yard. Other than that I get along just fine. (Mom says she is teaching me hand signals so that I will know what to do. I’m such a smart little girl that I want to learn them too – and show Mom and Dad how quickly I can!)
Since I’m a special little girl, Mom says that only the most special family will be right for me! She says I’m a diamond in the rough who will flourish in a home where I can get lots of attention.
So if you are looking for a darling little fluff who gets along with other pups but can also probably be an only furkid, either have no children or adult children (because I am deaf I need bigger people around who can reassure and love me) please ask for me. I’ll be waiting to meet you.
Sending doggy kisses to you,
Marvelous Maggie
