for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lucy's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lucy's Story...
Lovely Lucy is looking for a very special cat savvy home.

Lucy can be affectionate on her terms, sitting on your lap and purring, but needs her alone time as well. She is very vocal and makes her wishes quite clear; she just needs people who can recognize her signals.

She will run to the bathroom ahead of you and hop up on the vanity, hoping you will let the faucet run so she can drink and play. Sometimes she likes a slow drip; other times a thin stream that she can try to ‘catch’ with her paw.

Lucy would be best in a home with no small children. She has lived with a dog before, and is currently residing in a multi-cat foster home, where she is the boss. Lucy is 9 years old and declawed.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Rochester Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
