I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

PEACHES's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

PEACHES's Story...
Peaches is in trouble! She needs to find a home immediately because the people who now have her are moving in a couple of weeks and can't take her (or Kobe) with them. Peaches has already had her share of trouble. She was removed from an abusive home. Peaches is a 6-7 year old Shih Tzu girl. She is totally playful and loving. Peaches can sometimes be a bit skittish but she is friendly to other small friendly dogs and does not seem to be unfriendly to cats. Peaches is pals with Kobe...her pal in her current home. Please be aware that Peaches has eye issues...she is developing cataracts in both eyes. Because of her sight issue Peaches should probably not go into a home with tiny children.

Want to meet and possibly help this very needy little dog? Just send an email inquiry to us at njcattitude@gmail.com - one of our friendly volunteers will respond pretty darn quick. Or...you can meet Peaches at our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo {1333 Centennial Avenue} between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. But please hurry...this little girl needs to find a home asap.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEACHES, a Highland Park Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
