Jock (Neutered)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jock (Neutered)'s Story...
"Jock" is a handsome 5-year old male Pointer mix who was surrendered by his family on July 6, 2015 along with his housemates (Brutus, Chico, and Dewey) because they could no longer take care of them. "Jock" has a white short smooth coat with black spot on his left side, a docked tail, and a cute face with two 'black eyes' and black spotted ears. "Jock" is an energetic, friendly boy who likes other dogs and plays well with children. His previous owner told us that he will chase cats :( "Jock" has previously been kept indoors and is housebroken. He is an active dog who thrives on exercise and would be great with a family who also had an active lifestyle. "Jock" is fairly strong on the other end of a leash. This great guy has already been neutered. He is 'pleasingly plump' and currently weighs 61.2 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jock (Neutered), a Marietta Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
