Nitro (Neutered)'s Story...
"Nitro" is a handsome adult male Rottweiler mix who arrived at the HSOV on July 18, 2015 after he was picked up in Watertown, Ohio and brought to the safety of our shelter. This good-looking gentleman has a black-and-brown short smooth coat with a small patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a darling face with brown eyes and short floppy ears. "Nitro" has a great personality and appeared to get along well with everyone he met while he was outdoors for his photo session. He has a fairly calm disposition and walks well on a leash without pulling. "Nitro" weighs 49 lbs. He is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed. "Nitro" has been neutered and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nitro (Neutered), a Marietta Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
