Bixler's Story...
Hi I'm Bixler, but you can call me Mr. Bixler because I'm in charge! I'm usually found near my sister BeBe because I like to play with her. She does have a hard time keeping up with me because I am very adventurous. I love to be held and scratched and LOVE to play. My sister and I have been looking for our permanent home for some time now, we were hoping to be adopted together, but we don't want someone to pass us up if they only want one of us. Plus BeBe is much braver than she was when just a few weeks old. I would love to meet you in person so you could see how cool I am, pictures just don't reflect my personality (I am the one smiling in the photo). Please check out my pictures and video to get to know me a little better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bixler, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
