Watson (Neutered)'s Story...
"Watson" is a handsome 2-year old male Coonhound mix who made his debut at the HSOV on June 13, 2015 after he was found in Fleming, Ohio. This good-looking young man has a black/brown/white short smooth coat, rather long legs, a long tail, and an adorable face with long brown velvet ears that just beg to be petted. "Watson" has the wonderful personality of his noble Hound breed and was just happy to be with his new best friends while he was outdoors for his photo session. There was a thunderstorm looming in the distance which made him a little apprehensive, but he 'braved it out' until we had three nice pictures for his petfinder posting. "Watson" isn't a very large boy and currently weighs 51.6 lbs. He is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed. "Watson" was neutered on June 19, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson (Neutered), a Marietta Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
