Adele's Story...
Hi peeplz! My name's Adele. Well, at least that's what my new name is. I wish I could talk and tell you what my old name was because that's what i've been called for the last 7 years. But when my owners dumped me at the county shelter, they didn't even give the shelter my name! So, i'm getting used to a lot of new things in my life, including my new name. I hope to find my permanent home real soon so I can get busy bonding with my REAL forever family and learning what it feels like to be loved for real. Please watch my video of when I was at the shelter and a nice volunteer came and met me. Even though the shelter was a scary place, I maintained my super sweet disposition and snuggly personality. I really hope you will consider me for your new furry best friend! I am a major snuggler and there is a lot of me to snuggle! Love, Adele

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adele, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
