My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roo is a small guy at about 25lbs, Shepherd/Basenji mix. He is a very sweet and playful pup. He gets along with other dogs and does fine with cats. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sister. He really loves to give his foster kitty big slobbery kisses, but he does love to cuddle and be close to his people. He is a real sweetheart and very smart. He knows basic commands like sit, and he does great on a leash, and knows IN for his crate. He is learning to like his crate.
He can even say is name Rooooo..
His foster brother is trying to teach him how to get his own ice cubes from the fridge dispenser.
His foster mom and dad think he would do best in a home with older children, as he is not super fond of his ears and tail being pulled.

UPDATE: He's learned that his crate is an ok place to be, he would do great with an active family, he loves exploring on long walks, loves his dog toys, especially the ones that crinkle. He's great with the foster felines, he gets in their face to say hi, but never any aggression. He is one of the funniest pups we've ever fostered and is a big time butt wiggler. Still working on lease training, but his big foster brother is a bad influence on him, he does better alone. He LOVES to cuddle with his foster dad, that is his favorite thing to do. It will be his first time at adoptions so he might be a little shy. Hope you come out to meet him!
