Hi my name is Dakota. I am a 1 year old Dachshund mix who came into the shelter as a stray. I am timid and still learning to trust people but I am slowly warming up to all of the volunteers at the shelter. Once I get out of my kennel and outside on the leash I am very spunky and active, I would probably do best in a home with no small/young children just because of my trust issues. If I'm not reclaimed by my owner I will be available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control on 8/7/15.
