My name is Asha and I am a pretty, 3 year old girl who is ready for my furever home.
My life has been pretty rough. Not too long ago, I had a litter of 9 beautiful babies. My owner took me and my 9 puppies and surrendered us to a shelter when my babies were only 1 week old. I don't know why and I was very sad and scared. We almost didn't make it. I had given up hope and was so confused because I knew I didn't do anything wrong. My babies and I were within an hour of being euthanized when a miracle happened. We were all saved by the nice people at SGSR. I am just so thankful to know my babies are safe and now I am ready for my new life.
My foster mom says I need to tell you some things about me. First, I am house trained; that's a biggie, right? My leash manners are good and I love to play.
I am good with other dogs, but would prefer a house with no cats. I am smart and I know I can learn even more with the right training, especially if there are treats involved! I love love love treats!
I am being fostered in Dandridge, TN. If you are interested in adopting me, please let your adoption coordinator know or fill out an application here: www.southeastgermanshepherdrescue.com
