update

Hank (fosters nick named him Bubba) will come with a full health blood panel

that shows he's healthy everything is normal for his age group

Hank is a handsome, well-behaved, friendly boy that loves to bond and be your sidekick

Hank is very easy-going and likeable and gets along well with other dogs

his size

people of all ages though we prefer a adult home, young retired that had the breed before or similar herding breeds
Hank is fine with any age visiting child but he's not really a kids dog but enjoys his adult company
hanging out with you while you do ranch farm or garden chores

He does really well in the car and seems to enjoy going for rides

loading up in a truck he will put his front feet up and you lift his rear end top get in

in a car no biggy to him he gets in easily

Hank loves to play and especially loves squeaky toys to fetch

but most of all he loves to be your side kick get his rear end massaged

Hank is not one that likes to be in the city but prefers a quiter lifestyle in the country
or a quiet neighborhood

he tolerates the city and noises well has no hang ups there

He's always been a country boy and we would love to keep it that way

or a similar setting outskirts of town can be flexible for the right super family

Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Gentle

If there are no cats or small critters he would do well on a small ranch

otherwise he will do what dogs do chase

Looking for stable home owners

Hank is around 7 years young or so and a perfect age
out of the chewing stage and well trained
ready for a down to earth family still active enough going for walks and games of fetch

or if you have fenced property roaming and hanging out following you around is what he would enjoy

He weighs 75 pounds on a large frame his perfect weight now

loves to eat so can easily pack on the weight

he's fairly tall and bigger boned

beautiful coat plush white and black daily brushing will keep it looking great it's soft to the touch

He does play with other dogs in his foster home but can easily be only dog as best buddy sidekick to you

being part of the family not just a dog is very important to him and us
playing in a fenced yard, meeting other walking buddies would suit him just fine

throw the ball for him while gardening or doing ranch farm chores he would love to follow you and help you doing chores
as for the fetch playing 10 to 15 minutes once or a few times a day would suit him just fine

if you have another dog a female his size and age be ideal they can run and play or hang out, while you do your ranch farm work or garden

loves his rear end massaged does a cute dance with back legs when you do it

while he's standing

Gets along well with other dogs and horses. I'm not sure he's had any experience with other livestock or chickens so prefer none

or separate and you train him to be ok with them

About Manhatten Animal Rescue Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Communities are in economic crisis and innocent animals are facing the consequences with their lives. We try to provide some resources to alleviate the increasing abandonment and neglect rates. Our efforts are mitigated because of the over population of our domestic animals and the lack of education on the crisis of not spaying and neutering your animals.
