My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our truly one of kind Ollie. Ollie is believed to be a 2 year old Corgi/Dalmatian Mix, as you can see by his pictures he is full of personality and who could say no to those eyes.

Ollie came to us as and stray and with what appeared to be a leg injury. Upon his vet visit the vet didn't see an broken bones and recommended a week of crate rest and to revisit it in a week. 2nd vet check, More x-Rays were taken, and the vet discovered that not only does his front right leg not function properly, but his right back leg doesn't extend behind him either. The x-Rays showed that his right hip socket isn't formed correctly around the ball. She believes that his issues may be caused from congenital defects passed down from his parents. She does not recommend surgery, and believes he can live a long healthy (crooked) life. Because of the issues on his right side, he has been compensating by twisting his body to the left which has caused some scoliosis in his spine. We are in hopes that some alternative methods may give him some improvement and are working on trying to get him seen by a doggy chiropractor. We are also consulting with another vet for a second opinion. This little guy has the biggest heart and zest for life! I've attached a video so you can see how awesome Ollie is, and how he doesn't let these defects slow him down any! He has already won over our hearts, the vet even nicknamed him Tiny Tim.

Ollie is loving life as a house dog (a new concept for him). He is one happy-go-lucky, get along with everyone and everything kind of guy. If someone is looking for a new best friend that will be by your side through thick and thin, this is your boy! He is smart, loving, loyal and a total ham. He hasn't had a single accident in the house or crate in his foster home, and catches on to new routines very quickly.
