Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For Adoption - Bristol
Almost a year ago we shared Bristol's story and images showing his emaciated and weak condition when he was rescued. He touched everyone's heart and generosity. Your donations made it possible for us to provide him the medical care he needed to survive. He spent five months at the vet's office getting daily medicated baths for sarcoptic mange, and heartworm treatment. He is now in a foster home where he has blossomed into a very handsome, 3 year old. He now weights a healthy 40 lbs., and will remain a medium dog.
To our pleasant surprise, Bristol is a blond Xolo (short for Xoloitxcuintlis, or Mexican Hairless dog). Known for his loyalty, intelligence and loving nature, the Xolo is a primitive breed derived from the Aztecs, Mexico's oldest culture. They are quiet, lay back and affectionate dogs who love their humans and equally enjoy daily walks and evening cuddles. Bristol is no exception to his breed. He is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves everyone he has come in contact with, including other dogs. He is now healthy, neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm preventive.
