Castor's Story...
Hi, I'm Castor, a handsome mainecoon mix! My sister Leda and I were found wandering around a Barnes and Nobles parking lot. Someone saw us and called St. Francis for help. And a nice lady came and got us and took us home with her! We have been having a grand time in our foster home, playing and getting lots of love and good food. We are hoping someone might want to adopt us together - we make a really awesome brother sister duo (if we do say so ourselves!). We are fluffy and spunky and cuddly, all wrapped up into one sweet furry package. I hope you will consider us for your new furry best friends! Love, Castor

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Castor, a Tampa Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
