My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ECHO is a 5 year old spayed chocolate female Lab who weighs 73 pounds. Echo has had a rough go at life and is looking for a family that is willing to work with her and dote on her! She previously lived in a home that couldn't provide training or boundaries. She will benefit from regular exercise and stimulation. Echo has not had any training and will need a family that is confident, patient, and willing to work with Echo and help her settle into her new home. Echo does ok on leash but can sometimes bark at other dogs. She is very affectionate and loves her people. Echo is house trained. She previously stayed in a dog proofed room when her owners were out and did fine. Echo is good with other dogs, but she needs proper introductions to them. Echo is an owner give up to lab rescue due to previous owner's new baby's medical problems. From temporary foster: Echo is people friendly. No issues with people on their walks. She is a cuddler in the home. Sleeps with them in their bed. She is not crated and has done fine. From evaluator: "Echo is a nice girl who needs a stable home. She has not had any training and needs someone that is willing to work with her. With the right owner she will blossom." She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
