I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Ace-Adoption Pending!'s Story...
Hello. My name is Ace. I'm 12 weeks old and I weigh about 15 lbs.
I was surrendered to another local shelter after they received a disturbing complaint that I had a broken leg that my family was not having treated... mind you, my family had another dog just a month or 2 ago that also had a broken leg they left untreated. She was seized back then but I guess they thought it would be a good idea to get another dog... They claim I fell off of the porch. I can't remember what happened, all I know is that it HURT and they didn't get me any care to help me heal or ease the pain.
Anywho... the folks at the other shelter were currently unable to help another doggy with a broken leg so I was transferred here to the CCDP. I like it here alright, I guess but I don't like staying alone in my pen at night. I think a home with a family would just be swell!
I'm a typical, totally untrained, puppy. I have no clue about house training either, so my new family is going to need a lot of love and patience to train me and put up with my puppy shenanigans, but they're going to have a wonderful dog when I grow up!
I love all people and other dogs... again, typical puppy!
Back to this broken leg business...I currently have a splint, which was just put on 8/3/15. My leg must stay splinted for another 6 weeks. My splint will require weekly vet visits. My weekly splint changes will not cost my new family anything as long as they take me to Community Animal Clinic in East Liverpool. If my new family uses a different clinic, splint changes will have to he done at their own expense. Also, should I need any follow up x-rays or any other medical treatment, it will be at my new family's expense.
**I will be going out of state to get vetted. I will leave 8/ 6/15 and I will return 8/13/15. I will be available for meet and greet/ able to go to my new family any time after noon on 8/13/15. My vetting schedule is non-negotiable.**
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
