Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joy, a year old 55 lb. red Lab mix girl, spent the first 9 months of her life in a low kill shelter in Tennessee. Now that she's out in the big world she has turned into a great big lovable goof with a big toothy grin. She manages to trip going upstairs, wriggle contently on a lap that is half her size or lean against a leg and then slowly sink to the floor in happy contentment. She wants to be standing by your side or underfoot or curled up on the floor close to where you are. Initially a timid soul, she will thrive on gentle words and kindness. Joy can play in the yard by herself by tossing toys in the air but would also enjoy a four-footed a friend to play tag and tug-of-war with. Regrettably she is a shoe thief but responds well to “drop it”. If you want a companion who will fill your life with love and laughter and kisses, Joy is your girl. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
