Snoopy's Story...
Snoopy is a nine month old terrier, but what Snoopy really is, is A MIRACLE!! He was relinquished to a downtown vet facility when he was diagnosed with Parvo, since his owners could not afford the vet bills. Snoopy got through Parvo, only to then be diagnosed with Distemper, a usually fatal virus, that he was exposed to by another dog. We took Snoopy into our foundation knowing that he had distemper and may not make it. Despite his grave diagnosis, Snoopy was always happy and loving. We put Snoopy on a clinical trial for distemper that required daily shots and weekly infusions at the vet. Snoopy is a fighter and after 8 weeks of treatment he was declared distemper free! This happy and lucky dog is now ready for his forever home! He loves life, all people and other dogs. We need a fabulous home for this special boy!
Neutered microchipped and UTD on shots

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoopy, a Santa Monica Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
