Maud's Story...
Maud was rescued from the shelter with her mom and siblings when she was just a day old. Maud is going to be a large girl with soft thick fur. Not quite a medium hair length, but not a sleek short haired kitty. Maud is extremely pretty, as is her siblings, who are all unique. Maud has a stronger personality and has the makings of a diva. She is not afraid to let you know what she wants, whether it is holding and cuddling, "I am hungry", or "let me down, I want to play!" Maud plays and sleeps with with her siblings, but she is also more independent than her siblings and will be fine in most any home.

Maud is ready for her forever home and is she waiting for you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maud, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
