Gracie is a 1.5 year old, 55lb beautiful green eyed girl! She showed up as a stray, very shy but very loving and aims to please. She sits so nicely for her treat and gently takes it from your hand, what a little she is!
Her foster mom has been working with her and she is doing great on leash, she loves playing with other dogs. She was at first afraid to come in the house but is loving being inside with people and other dogs.
She appeared to be afraid of men but her foster mom is working on that and she has improved.
Gracie needs a home with an experienced dog owner that will be patient with her. In her past at some point she was yelled at as she cowers down as if she has done something wrong but once you pet her she is your friend. She would not be good in home with small children but with 16 or older she would do fine.
The lab in Gracie comes out when she goes on her afternoon walks in the woods and to the creek! She lOVES the water love playing with Annie in the creek!
If you think Gracie would be a good fit for your family email cindyking2005@gmail.com for an application, that is the first step in the adoption process. Gracie is fully vetted and microchipped with a life time registration. Her adoption/vetting fee is $150.00.

About Warm Hearts Humane Society, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a local humane society dedicated to ending the homeless pet problems in our county and to help our county become a role model for how rural communities can care for animals humanely.

We provide low-cost spay and neuter vouchers to county residents who cannot afford to have their pets fixed.

We have several feral cat colonies that we have worked out a trap and return policy on. These cats have all been fixed and are fed and cared for by residents in the community.

Our Adoption Process...

Warm Hearts animals are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis. We require an adoption application and vet references. Interviews are conducted to make sure that the animal is a good fit for the family. Our adoption fees help cover our vet and day-to-day costs of animal care.
