My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leila is an adorable little 11pound puppy who was 3 months old as of the end of August (new pictures Sept. 9). She is a happy little munchkin who loves playing with the other young pups here. She LOVES people attention and is super affectionate. She enjoys being held, tummy rubs and lap time.

She has such fun playing with toys and is starting to fetch. She will run after her toy and then dive into your lap with it, ready to share and for you to toss again. She is not possessive at all, just happy to share.

She is well socialized and happy to meet new friends. She is great with the other dogs here at the shelter. She is more comfortable with smaller dogs since she is petite.

She has scruffy fur and will probably be around 25 pounds when full grown (Mom was that size but dad is unknown). Leila is a soft grey color with white on her chest. She is a true mixed breed, obviously not a Schnauzer, but she is cute, has that scruffy faced look, and will be small and delightful. Who cares what breed she is anyway, since she has such a wonderful personality and is so full of love to give!

She is new to the leash and the big wide world but is getting used to both and doing great.

Leila is a typical cheerful, fun loving, silly, loving little puppy and ready to come home with you!
