Marley's Story...
MARLEY is a 6 year old Chihuahua Mix that was surrendered from her loving family along with PEANUT. She is a typically Chihuahua! She picks certain people and really likes them and is stand-offish with others. She is living with children and doing well with them and other small dogs. She does not like another dog entering her space without her permission and will clearly display her dislike. She is small dog friendly but wants to be the dog to start the introduction once she is comfortable. She has been a sweetheart in her foster home. She is content to observe from a comfortable distance and doesn’t need to be part of the action. But if you are her person she is an exclusive cuddle bug for you. She would do best in a home without other dogs or other small dogs that understand that she runs the show.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please fill out an Adoption Screening Form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Trenton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
