My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carli is approx. 1-2 yr. old red bc who arrived at a Ohio shelter as a stray. She tested positive for heartworms and was scheduled
to be euthanized - this is where BBCR stepped in to help. Carli has received her heartworm treatment and is in the recovery stages.
Her foster parents report that recovery is going well - no complications. Carli is a sweet girl with lots of affection to offer.
She will benefit from obedience training as her recall is not very good. She is crate-trained and has the basic understanding of
housetraining, and is learning sit, down, shake. She walks okay on lead but has strong prey drive - she will chase rabbits, squirrels, deer.
She appears to be dog friendly - cats have not been tested, but would caution with the prey drive. Carli does not exhibit any interest in toys or
play - but due to the hw treatment, she is limited to her activity during the recovery.
