Junipurr's Story...
Junipurr is a DSH tortie girl, born approximately 3/31/15.

Junipurr is quite the force to be reckoned with. Such a sweet girl that purrs when picked up, Junipurr is confident and loving. She can play a bit rough sometimes but is such a pistol. Her antics have her foster family in laugh mode most of the time. She loves to play and would probably do best with a family that loves to interact and a kitty or two that will give her lots of playtime. She loves her wet food and well, food in general. She loves anything that moves, including the dog. Junipurr loves to be scratched all over and when she is held gives nuzzles and ear kisses. Such a great all around kitty but is an active one with an active playtime. But just as important is her snuggle time with her loud purrs. A smart, confident kitty that has got plenty of that torti-tude to go around.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junipurr, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
