My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zilly. 5-6 yo Tabby & White Exotic Shorthair Persian.
Silly Zilly. What a GREAT cat she is. We love having her around. She is
fun loving, quirky, and full of loving. You would think she's a kitten
the way she plays. She loves her people and loves to have her face
rubbed. She will even grab your hand and lick it herself, and then rub
her head against your hand. She wants to teach you to wash her face
appropriately with the right amounts of cat spit apparently. Her coat is
lush, and requires brushing a few times a week. She doesn't mat much,
but it's helpful to keep her shedding down.
Zilly has the usual flat face of an Exotic so she requires a little eye
and face maintenance. Washing her nose crease and under her eyes daily
with fresh clean water and a plain white paper towel will keep her face
pretty and her skin healthy. She loves the grooming so it's not a hard
task. Although it's not a requirement she would also benefit from daily
eye drops just to keep those big round eyes well lubricated. Some cats
with the big round eyes get dry eye. If you put Celluvisc Refresh, a
human eye drop with no preservatives, into the eyes daily, they stay
beautiful and healthy. While you're at it, put a few drops in your own
eyes. They are safe and keep the air pollution from giving YOU tired eyes.
Zilly is currently living in a foster home with other cats and a couple
of large, "We're So Blase' About the Cats" dogs. She isn't bothered by
the dogs and does get along with other cats. In a new environment she
can be a bit of a diva with the cats but only until she gets to know
them. As long as your current cats are friendly, she'll be fine with
proper introductions. Zilly would also be fine as an only pet since she
really only wants to love on your constantly.
To adopt Zilly you must be willing to commit to caring for her eyes, and
she MUST be allowed to sleep with you at night. She is super
affectionate so being left alone while you are at work, and then kept
away from you at night, would be devastating for her. As always, the
perfect home for Zilly would be where someone works from the home or is
retired and wants to spend all day with Zilly. She will even help you on
the computer if you'd let her.
