Benjamin's Story...
Benjamin was rescued as puppy. He had mange so bad that there was hardly any fur on his body at all. After months of getting him healthy, he were adopted out. Benjamin was given back on recently when the owners decided to move and not bring him. Not sure what else we can do when we adopt out a dog to get someone to understand that when you are a renter, it is not easy to bring a big dog into a new rental situation, so it must be deeply considered whether a dog should be adopted or not. Of course we were told "dogs are family, where we go they go..." and "we would never move some place we couldn't bring our dog"........well here he is, all grown up, and obviously a lot harder to adopt out now than when he was this adorable little puppy He is a big boy now and is still so sweet. Benjamin is about 9 months old, good with other dogs and kids. He is potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands like sit, down, paw, and come. The last pic is when we first got him. He is in Palm Coast right now waiting for a REAL forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Bunnell Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Bunnell, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bunnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bunnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bunnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bunnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
