Isn't she gorgeous? Neka is a spayed female purebred Husky who is 3-4 years old and housetrained. She weighs 35 pounds. She is great with kids - very gentle and loving. Neka is already spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, rabies, heartworm tested and has begun the monthly preventative. Neka is so sweet, friendly and affectionate. She loves people. One of her favorite things is belly rubs. She'll melt to the floor for belly rubs and ear scratches. Neka is one of the most friendly dogs. She is awesome - very playful, gentle, comes when she's called, great on a leash. She's very smart and also knows "sit" and "shake." But she has a few issues - she is an escape artist and she doesn't like to be left alone. She needs a home where she can be with people most of the time. She panics when crated if no one is home; if you're in the house, she's fine in the crate. She needs a caring family who will love her for life and show her a lot of patience. She also wants to be the only dog. She is not aggressive toward other dogs on the street or at the park, but she isn't fond of them being in her house. Please email info@pawsforliferescue.org to meet sweet Neka!

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption.
